Meet the Authors

 

 

Anthony Zolezzi

Anthony Zolezzi has spent the past 25 years working in the food industry specializing in new business development for the organic and natural food categories.

Zolezzi is a former board member of the Organic Alliance and a founding board member of the Organic Center for Education and Promotion. He is also on the leadership team of the Association of Family Farms, an initiative to organize family farms and sell products direct from the farm to retail and foodservice.

Zolezzi is responsible for over 25 new product innovations and industry developments working with organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies including Nestlé, Bumble Bee Seafood, The New Organics Co., Horizon Organic Dairy, Wild Oats Markets, Veg Fresh Farms, Sizzler International, Jack-In-The-Box Franchise, Eco Terra Development Co., C.H. Robinson, Bull & Finch Pub Enterprises, Cascadian Farms and Hidden Villa Ranch. In addition to his marketing, manufacturing, and distribution expertise, Zolezzi has taken social trends and turned them into food trends such as his creation of Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurants based on the award winning movie, Forrest Gump. He also developed Café Nervosa Coffee based off NBC's hit sitcom, Frasier.

Zolezzi is frequently called on as a health food expert by national media, including NBC’s, Today show and national magazines, Time, and Newsweek. He also helps companies and individuals become more innovative and engaged in life and business by creating toxic-free corporate environments.

Bill Bonvie

Bill Bonvie is a New Jersey-based writer and journalist whose background includes having worked as a newspaper reporter, copy editor, managing editor and advertising copywriter. His freelance work has included magazine and newspaper articles on a variety of environmental and health-related topics written in collaboration with his sister, Linda Bonvie.

Bill has also penned numerous humorous published essays and columns (as well as critical and analytical ones), many of which have appeared on op-ed and commentary pages of leading newspapers, including the Philadelphia Inquirer, Berkshire Eagle, Orlando Sentinel and St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Linda Bonvie

Linda Bonvie is a writer specializing in health and environmental topics. Her articles have appeared in various major newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, and St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and in such periodicals as New Age Journal, Vegetarian Times, and E: The Environmental Magazine. Her achievements as an investigative journalist have included helping end the long-standing practice of spraying arriving international airline passengers with toxic pesticides in many countries.

Kory Swanson

Kory Swanson has spent the past 14 years wandering the halls of public education reminding students to dot their ‘I’s and cross their ‘T’s. He most recently taught English at the acclaimed Orange County High School of the Arts, an innovative school dedicated to academics and fine arts.

After coaxing kids to put words down on paper and revise, revise, revise, Kory finally decided it was about time to put his money where his mouth is. He has recently embarked on a career as a freelance writer.

Jennifer Todd

Educator, editor, writer, and the producer of The Detachment Paradox Seminar series, Jennifer Todd has spent the past 10 years encouraging literacy development in public school classes ranging from 4th to 12th grade. She currently teaches English to students at the Orange County High School of the Arts, an innovative 7-12 middle and high school devoted to the pursuit of excellence in both academics and fine arts.
